David King
Founder, King Land Agency
David King was born and raised in a small farming community in Iowa. He learned at an early age that building positive relationships through hard work and honesty carried a lot of value. In this spirit, he founded KLA with the belief that every real estate transaction should start with relationship building between the agent and client.
Prior to founding KLA, David served as Vice President of the Solar Division for Mimi Song Realty Group. David and his team were pioneers in the renewable energy focused real estate industry. Over time his team was able to learn the specific attributes for suitable land and tailor their efforts to meeting the client’s needs.
Prior to this position, David was co-founder and Principal of The Inland Company, a Southern-California based land brokerage. The company’s focus was providing real estate and consulting services to land developers, land owners and investors. The primary focus was land in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
David’s success is not limited to his tenure in the real-estate industry. He also had a successful stint in the educational services industry as Director of Enrollment for the University of Phoenix. David holds a B.A. from the University of Iowa and is a licensed real-estate agent.
David’s renewable energy resume includes:
- Since 2008, has been singularly focused on renewable energy land transactions
- Originated over 4000 MW of renewable energy portfolios
- Originated over $200 million of purchases for renewable energy land
- Successfully negotiated contracts for over 20,000 acres of land
- Successfully negotiated over 200 transactions for renewable energy land
- Has submitted offers for over 15 different renewable energy developers.
